Here’s how!! We are implementing a new marketing strategy to raise awareness and “recruit” educators to bring our Piglet Mindset program into their schools.
Our new strategy will call on Piggy’s social media and other friends to first learn about our program through a fun and interesting Zoom info session. We will send our new volunteers Piglet Mindset info packets that include our Piglet Mindset Educational Program brochure, Piglet’s business cards, Piglet stickers, and Piglet’s Inclusion Pack membership cards.
Once our volunteers have pitched the Piglet Mindset Educational Program to educators (who can be friends, family, teachers of their children or grandchildren, colleagues…) these packets will be handed off to the educators who show interest in our program. Hopefully, a personal introduction by a passionate Piggy friend will spark some interest and a tangible packet of colorful info will seal the deal.
Then we can push for PR with local media and sponsorships from local businesses to fund school visits and Piglet Comes Home books for students.
This is an extremely easy, low-key way to give our Piggy Mindset program a big boost in your own communities. It is low cost and extremely effective and a great help to our school program. Word of mouth referrals for an awesome free online program that features a tiny deaf blind pink puppy with a positive attitude -- it doesn’t get much better! - Pink Piglet Peer to Peer Fundraising Parties and Projects - see below!
- Sponsor a School Visit - Some school visits are covered by school arts and enrichment budgets. But some school systems don't have funding for Piglet Mindset types of programs. Ironically, those are the schools that tend to need Piglet Mindset the most. So donations to cover the costs of these visits is crucial to our program.
- Fundraising Events - We are happy to collaborate on fundraising events that will benefit our program as well as others that share our message of kindness.
- Grant Proposals and Corporate Sponsors - We are always looking for new sources of collaboration and funding. If you have expertise in grant writing or contacts in the corporate world, we'd love to hear from you!
- Promote Our Program - Share Piglet and his positive mindset with friends, family, teachers, and school administrators in your community.
- Facebook Fundraising - a fun, easy way to raise funds for Piglet International Inc. Be sure to check out our Peer to Peer fundraising ideas listed below.
- Join Our Board - As our Piglet Mindset® Educational Program expands to reach more students and teachers, and our rescue and book fund activities grow, we are actively searching for Piglet-Passionate educators, disabilities advocates, accountants, lawyers, mental health professionals, animal rescue workers, graphic designers, and others who are interested in contributing to our organization's growth. Pink Piglet Peer to Peer Fundraising Parties and Projects!
Celebrate and have fun as you support Piglet and his mission with a Pink Piglet Fundraising Party or Fundraising Project. Honor your birthday or other important events, people, pets, or have a party just because you care! Raise awareness and funds for our Piglet Mindset® Educational Program, for rescued animals with disabilities, and to donate books to children in underserved communities. Funds raised are added to our general funds or can be earmarked for a specific school visit, an individual rescued dog, or donating Piglet books to your favorite neighborhood school.
Children and adults, families, school classes, scout troops, sports teams. and church groups will have fun spreading Piggy's positive message while planning an in-person or virtual Pink Piglet Party or Fundraising Project!
To support your efforts, when you sign up, we will send information about our nonprofit organization and Piglet's community outreach, Piglet stickers, suggested party activities, and thank you cards for your guests! Piglet might even make an appearance!
We are using our Network For Good platform for peer to peer fundraising. Piglet friends have three options for their peer to peer fundraising party or project:
